This year was lots of fun to celebrate Valentines day. Sophie had a lot of fun making her valentine's and eating all the yummy treats that go along with this lovely holiday.
This was Sophie after playschool last Thursday. She made me a valentine and some cookies. The heart is made from her hands (outside edge). Thanks to Kristin who was patient enough to allow 4 little girls to chance to make thier mommies a valentine.
This was a picture taken on Valentines night before our fun date. We went to the church for a dinner, conference, and dance. It was a lot of fun. Last but not least...Travis is the greatest husband and daddy in the world. While I was gone Saturday morning he took care of Sophie along with two other little girls. I called him on the way home and he said he was babysitting our neighbor's little girl while the dad was on his way home from work and he was watching a friend of ours from church little girl. Sophie was having so much fun with 2 friends over. As I drove home I thought to myself there are not very many dads/husbands who would be willing to spend thier Saturday morning babysitting, especially more than their own kid. It is moments like that, I realize how lucky I am to be married to such a special person. So, just when Travis couldn't get any higher on my favorite person list...I walked in the door and found 3 little girls having lunch at the table with him opening the refridgerator door to show me the big pan of chocolate covered strawberries he had made me along with a homemade card with Sophie's kisses all over it. (Daddy let her put lipstick on!). Isn't he the best daddy and husband ever.
