Paradise Trout and Berry Days 2011

Sophie was so brave this year and got in the fish pool to try and catch a trout fish! We had a blast at the parade, I ran the 5k that morning and we finished the day with a yummy trout dinner with the family!

Dinosaur Park

 We had a great family day trip to Ogden to the Dinosaur Park! The kids had so much fun looking at all the dinosaurs!

Sound Beginnings Back to School BBQ

 This was such a fun evening with all of our friends from Tanner's school.  We rode horses, ate a yummy BBQ, and got our face painted! The kids had soooo fun!

August Summer Fun with the kids

Baby Kate 3 months old! She has such long hair!

Summer Fun in August! One day while I was cleaning out the garage the kids played with roller skates, strollers, paint and bubbles! They had soooo much fun!

Trip to Vernal to see the Labrums

 Since Travis' sister and family was getting ready to move to Texas we wanted to make a trip down to see them in Vernal.  We left on Friday afternoon and came home on Sunday.  We had so much fun.  We went to a parade, out to lunch, played at the house and had a fun movie night on Saturday.  Then on Sunday we went to church with them and then left to come home.  We are so sad they are moving. 

Yeah thats right...guess who I met at lunch in Roosevelt, Utah?  Chuck Wicks the country singer! This is one of my most embarassing moments ever! My brother-in-law Russ challenged me to make my salad bar as tall as a spoon...(the restaruant asks you to only go to the salad bar one time...make is as big as want, but only go once)...so the challenge was on.  While making my GIANT salad a man walked up and started making his salad...so I started making small talk with him..mostly because of my embarrasement of my tall salad.  He said, "Nice Salad"..so I started telling him the challenge...just as he walked around to my side of the bar I realized who it was...I was starstruck.  Rewind a bit...prior to going to the salad bar I noticed a centerfold in the middle of the table with his picture on it.  I was the only one at the table who knew who he was.  He was playing that night at the town celebration.  Noway him in Roosevelt..I was so excited.  Anyway back to the salad bar..so I said "you look very familiar...what is your name?" Duh, I knew it was him.  I was so embarrased, so I said I am a huge fan and loved him on dancing with the stars.  As I walked away with my GIANT salad and beet red in the face...I went back to my table and was shaking and starstruck.  My family just laughed at me! :)
