After a long day of getting induced he finally arrived at 4:53 pm. We are so happy to have him in our family! He is such a cutie. We were super surprised by his dark long brown hair but I have to say its super cute! I will post more details later! Big Sister Sophie is finally starting to show some interest in her Little Brother! She loves to hold him and kiss him now.

Baby Boy Shower

I was given a baby shower the end of February and it was so much fun. I felt so loved and was given such amazing gifts for our little guy. I just got the pictures and wanted to post what a fun evening it was......and since I am getting induced tomorrow morning. I am so excited to have our little boy join our family tomorrow.

Fun! Fun! Fun! Visit from Aunt Anji

Anji "Annie as Sophie says" came for a 5 day visit from Las Vegas. We had SOOOOOOO much fun! We were on the go non-stop. We went to lunch right when she came in on Wednesday and grilled that night. Then on Thursday we spent about 6 hours at Sea World and then went to Enrichment that night and also watched Travis' church ball game. On Friday we worked on our crafts and went shopping at La Cantera. Then finished the night off with the Famous Rudy's BBQ. Saturday was our shopping, crafting, hair and movie day. We had a list on the fridge of things we wanted to accomplish...and well we finished the last thing 1 hour before I took her to the airport on Sunday. It is so fun to have sisters. We are 11 years apart but the coolest thing is that you'd never realize it, she seems like my own age. We seriously had the best time! I actually felt like I was on vacation at my house! Sophie loves her "Annie". On monday morning she woke up asking for Annie. Anji would do Sophie's hair and even pained her toenails. Sophie had so much fun with Aunt Annie!

Nursery....Done! Sugar Cookies....Done!

So, we weren't going to do a nursery for our little guy but since we are staying in San Antonio 1 more year we thought we might as well. My 'nesting' instinct kicked in super early so we went to town in cleaning out our office to make it into a nursery. Here are some pictures of our lil boys nursery! I had fun making the valance and wall art...and not to mention the fun quilt ( I didn't make) that I had bought a couple of years ago just to use as a fun blanket. My bags are packed and ready to go...just have to wait for our little guy. I have 4 weeks to go but may have him early if he doesn't start packing on the weight.

I had been super sick with some viral infection that wiped me out for about 2 1/2 weeks...lots of coughing, congestion, etc. So, last week I started feeling like I hadn't been a very fun mommy for Sophie so I planned to play just with her all day last Thursday. We played in her room, dollies, watched a movie, and then made sugar cookies. It was so cute...She loved picking out all the cookie cutters and the saying "press" as she cut the dough with the cookie cutter. We had a lot of fun. Sugar Cookies are lots of work but in the end its all worth it!

Rampage Hockey Game

Last Saturday night we went to the Rampage Hockey Game. I had told Sophie earlier in the day that we were going to go to a Hockey Game and didn't say much more about it. Well while we were eating dinner she kept saying what sounded like "happy day" but then as we listened closer she really was saying "hockey game". It was so cute! We had so much fun at the game. She loved dancing and watching the game.

Sophie is a BIG GIRL!

So this post is long past due! Sophie has officially moved into her BIG GIRL bed as we call it. On February 15th was the big night and well its been a couple of weeks and we've only had 1 fall and maybe 2 sleepless nights. Not bad. She takes her naps on her big bed as well! We moved the crib out of her room and put it in Baby Brothers room. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Sophie is 22 months! and Brother will be here in 5 weeks.

Sophie's new way to watch her favorite movies! She takes her blanket and Elmo in with her...oh and of course her milk!

So, this taggie blanket was a gift for baby brother from my shower and well it is no longer his. Sissy has officially claimed it as hers. Anything with Minky Dots she automatically thinks is hers. I once saw a baby sleeper outfit made out of Minky Dots...I wonder if I bought that if she would suck on the dots while Brother was wearing it! (This picture shows her moving her sucking the dots...this is how she goes to sleep!)
