COLD Break in Utah...WARM welcome back to Texas

We went home to Utah for Spring Break this year. Sophie and I went home a couple of days before Travis and left 2 days after he did. It was super cold...snowed some. Of course I got sick.....Lately every trip home to Utah I get the pukes. Whatever I got..It spread like rapid fire....It started on the Baldwin side and before I knew it, we spread it to my side of the family from Spanish Fork all the way to Idaho Falls. Besides the sickness we had a great time seeing our family! Sophie had so much fun with all 21 of her cousins. We were pretty excited to get back to warmer weather. In fact on Saturday we got out Sophie's swimming pool! This is Sophie with her cousin Ben and Nanny Miller. They are 4 months apart and are the best of buds. They were so cute with eachother!

Sophie loves her swimming pool I got at a garage sale for $1.00. We cleaned it up real good and were so happy with our bargain. She loved it...just wished the water was warmer!

Yeah for Walgreens Free Printing Day

So, I am signed up for every emailing list possible...Well Walgreens had a special yesterday bring in a roll of film or one time camera and get it developed for free....So we've had this one time camera floating around our house forever....In fact the expiration date on the camera was 2004...well it resurfaced back in February so we took it on our Ice Skating date just to see if it worked...Then I forgot about it until yesterday when I got the email from Walgreens. So I hurried and finished off the remaining pictures and took it in....Not having the slightest clue what other pictures were on the camera. Today I got them back and it was fun seeing some pictures that were taken nearly 5 years ago! So here it goes.....

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter! It was so much fun having a kiddo to celebrate with! Travis and I had a blast getting Sophie dressed in her Easter dress and letting her go through her Easter basket! We had some of our friends over for Sunday Dinner. The Jessops, Weathers, and Hooks family came over to eat and hunt for eggs. Sophie has so much fun with her friends, Dylan, Ella, and Paige. It was an overall exciting day!

Daddy got Sophie dressed for church! He did a great job all except for the upside down pink sweater. I thought something looked a little different :) We laughed pretty hard at church when we realized what had happened.

My Cute Sisters and Brother

So my bestfriend growing up had a really fun video on her blog....So I went to the website and made one of my Brother and Sisters. I sent this to them for St. Patrick's Day! I love my Big Brother and Big Sisters so much! Even though I was picked on growing up (that's expected when your the youngest, actually I think I picked on them, especially Krista) I love having them as my siblings. Have 4 olders sisters is like having the coolest clique in the world!!! They are some of my bestfriends. When you get us all together including my mom....its crazy! Multiple conversations going on we still all manage to hear it all! Now for my Big Brother TJ. He is such a cutie! I am so proud he is my brother! He was my bestfriend and worst enemy growing up...My poor sister Krista was always the middle guy trying to keep us from killing eachother :) We had so much fun growing up together! Oh, how I love having a Brother and 4 Sisters!!!!!

Sophie 9 Months

I'm a little late posting 9 month pics....since she is now 10 months old. However I can't resist showing off these cute pictures. We were very happy how they turned out. Thanks to the sweet deals at Target. We had so much fun the evening we took her to get pictures done. We had the whole place to ourselves. We were the last appointment of the night and the girl who helped us was so nice. Speaking of pictures....does anyone know of some good photo programs that allow you to add cool borders, etc. to your own pictures???? I am attempting to learn Photoshop CS3 but it is taking me forever....it is too complex! (And to believe I thought I was decent at computers).

As Days Go By

Its been a while since I've posted...I just couldn't resist posting these pics of Sophie. She looks so cute in her little dress and sneakers. She is getting so big. Here are just a few of the things she has been doing. Waving at everyone and everything (lights, fans, birds, strangers etc.), emptying every shelf in the house, pulling on the recently-child proof cupboards, she finally learned to sit down after she pulls herself up (thank goodness....she used to cry until I would help her sit down), and best of all she says mama and dada!!!! The other day I was preparing for my sharing time for Primary on Sunday and I had a picture of Jesus up on the computer. She was playing in her exersaucer and saw the picture on the screen. She lit up and was so excited. I said, "look it's Jesus" and no joking she said what sounded just like"Jesus" with a big smile on her face. I know she knows him and loves him very much. It was a great moment to see her excitement and made me realize how lucky I am to be a mommy to such a wonderful daughter.
