CIRCUS with the Marelli's
Sophie and I were invited to go the circus with the Marelli family. It was fun to have a mommy-daughter date. She loved the circus and especially loved the sword Marco's grandparents bought her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS!
I love celebrating Travis' birthday. The night before I took the kids shopping for his birthday present. We got him 2 pair of dress pants. He was actually super excited about them. They are his most favorite type of dress pants he has ever had. Then on his birthday we took him Taco Bell and a cookie cake for lunch to his work and had a picnic.
Eating Travis' birthday dinner at his favorite restaurant...The Olive Garden. Every year during his birthday they have the unlimited pasta bowls...so we all leave super full!
Tanner's way of saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!"
Sophie was a big help blowing out the candles!
So, I am super embarrased for putting a picture of Travis' birthday cake...but the story behind it is funny. I have been super busy this month with lots of cakes. The icing I make stays good in my fridge for a couple of weeks...so this is the "Travis Left-over cake" He doesn't like when I waste things...like good icing! I had made an extra 8 inch round white cake when I made a baby shower cake the week before. I just stuck in our deep freeze and pulled it out on his birthday to thaw. Then I used the picks that were from his Fathers Day cheesecake and the 2 is from Sophie's 2nd birthday and I used all the icings I had in my fridge, including the can icing I had used on his Cookie Cake earlier that day. For those of you who may feel bad for him...he loved the cake and ate most all of it. Can't judge a cake by its cover!! It was soooo yummy! Not to mention it took only 10 minutes to decorate!!!!
COLLEGE STATION to visit the Hooks Family
We spent a weekend in College Station visiting our good friends the Hooks. Ryan and Brittany were our great friends from dental school and we miss them so much. Ryan is a dentist there (so if you are in the area he is great). Texas A&M is also there and it just so happenend that Utah State was playing them in football the weekend we were planning on going. So for Travis' birthday my mom spoiled him rotten! She sent him 4 tickets, money, and a shirt for his birthday. He invited his good friends Ryan, Tim, and Andrew to come along.
It was fun getting the kids (yes that includes Travis) dressed up in Utah State gear! We even got a shout out at the local grocery store!

CHEESE TANNER!!!! He finally rolled over!!!! from front to back...makes sense since he hates tummy time!
PRESCHOOL at Sophie's house.....introducing the Letter "E"
So for preschool this week I taught them dance lessons on Monday at the beginning and then we learned all about the Letter "E". By playing a letter E tic-tac-toe game I made and singing a Elephant song with Elephant masks on.
We finished preschool Thursday at our house by celebrating ELMO's birthday.... to help them learn the Letter "E". They had so much fun! They each were able to blow out their own cupcakes in honor of Elmo! We even had Elmo blow out his own cupcake. Preschool is so much fun!!!
OUR BIG BUNDLE OF JOY!!!!

I just love his rolls!!!!! He is the cutest baby ever!!!!
