The Next American Idol

So, I am pretty excited about this seasons American Idol, but my vote goes to Sophie for this years American Idol....She loves playing with the Karaoke microphone. I laughed so hard when I saw this picture. I hope she will have a better singing ability than her parents :)

On Saturday Sophie and I went shopping...No not to the Mall, Kohls, or even Wal-mart...We went Garage Sale'in. We love to go to the Garage Sales here. I went out looking for a Stationary play table and came home with not only that, but a Sit and Spin, Push/Sit car, and a baby swimming pool. We had so much fun! She loves playing with her new toys...although I put the Sit n Spin away for a later date and the swimming pool will be for the summer. We made a pretty good team out shopping. I have learned how talk people down on prices at garage sales. Here's my secret...offer the husband/man a lower price...they are the ones who just want everything gone...who cares how much. The wives have a harder time letting go of thier things especially that cute little outfit they remember thier child wearing. So, overall it was a great day for good deals. In fact I came home with money leftover....$1.00! (I began with $14.00)

"O" Tooth!!!!

Yes, its true Sophie got her first tooth! And daddy was sure to tell me it was her "O"tooth. She no longer has a gummy smile. She now has a gummy plus 1 tooth smile. Here are some pictures we took outside a couple of days ago. She was scared at first as you can see in the picture below but, loves it now. She especially likes to eat the leaves and acorns. She will crawl to the sliding glass door and get excited to go outside...the sad thing is she forgets there is a glass door there and she'll crawl into it head first. I figure she'll learn sooner or later, or I just won't ever wash the window and she'll see all of her little finger prints smudges everywhere and realize there is a window. Hey if you look close you can actually see her hair is growing! Yeah!

Love the pics of Sophie Shanda. So cute! That's fun she is getting her first tooth. Looks like you guys had a great day out at the yard sales. I can't wait until summer until they get popular here. Thank goodness for Craigslist and KSL in the meantime! Glad to hear you guys are doing well. Have a great day!

What a good bargain shopper you are! My fav Garage sale is when Cami and Ang's subdivision throws a huge one. It's like 10 garage sales in one neighborhood. So fun! Sophie's lookin' cute as ever!

Sophie is SOOOOOOO cute!! I wish I could talk people down on prices. I just go and pay what they want, but sounds like you have a good strategy so I will have to try! Nothin' like getting a great deal!

I have had a major itch to go garge salein' lately - it looks like you are one step ahead. Every time you go I am always jealous of the deals you find. I can't believe you got all that for $13. Amazing! Especially since I have that same play table for D which we paid like $35 or $40 for. Good job!

Sophie is such a doll! I can see that her hair is getting longer. Yay! She is growing up too fast!

Yes I still put her in the freezer and I never chewed on her fingers that was my dog. I know it is crazy. Zac hates that I still have her but I refuse to get rid of her. Easton doesn't mind how she looks.
