Best News of All for 2010....We are having a?????

BABY GIRL!!!!!

Yes, its true we are having a baby girl! We are super excited! Sophie is excited to have a roommate too! I found out by myself so I surprised the kids with a balloon and sucker to celebrate...then we went to Daddy's office and surprised him with a pink balloon and sucker as well. He was in the middle of a surgery so he couldn't really get up...but his face was priceless! He was in shock..he had no idea I would find out so early. It will be fun getting out all the girl boxes and baby girl bows! She'll be here in June! Yeah!

Sophie loves to play dress up....and the day we found out we were having a girl...Tanner decided he wanted to play dressup with Sissy! Maybe he was just celebrating a new sister to our family by wearing a pink princess dress!

New Years Resolution - Lose the Binky!

At Home During Cold Days!

We have found all sorts of fun things to do while being stuck inside because of COLD weather!

Making Marshmellow Muffins (I learned this recipe in Middle school during Home Economics!)

They did a super great job...I was surprised that even Tanner made some!

One of their favorite things to do after bathtime is go and turn on the fireplace and sit down and snuggle with their blankets by the fire!

Watching Daddy use the snowblower outside! This picture reminds me of Cat in the Hat..when it is too cold to go outside and play...lucky for me Tanner is sort of our Cat in the Hat....he loves to destruct things....write on walls, break things, jump off table, chairs, anything he can find!

Friends from Texas

Texas friends!

So, my camera was dirty...I know it looks like I enhanced my arm...but my camera was just dirty! Anyway after Christmas I got the chance to get together with a dear friend Kristin from Texas who's family lives here in Utah. She is one of the most amazing girl I know! Her smile and personality are contagious! We met in Ogden for some yummy frozen yogurt. Sophie was so excited to see her friend Paige. We had recieved their family Christmas card a couple of days before and Sophie started crying so hard...she said she missed Paige and all of her other friends from Texas. It really broke my heart. She was so sad. I feel for her, there are days I miss my Texas friends so much. I look forward to seeing them soon I hope!

Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas 2010!

Tanner woke up first, so we let him go and wake up Sophie! He climbed up in bed with her! She was so excited to have Tanner lay by her!

Santa definately found our house!

Christmas Breakfast! We had Nanny and Papa Larry, Uncle TJ, Uncle Will, Aunt Anji, and Baby Rome over for a yummy cinnamon french toast breakfast!

Sophie finally opened the gift she had been asking Santa for...her makeup! The present had accidentally fallen off the side of the couch, so we didn't see it until the end...she had just got done saying, "I think Santa forgot my makeup" in a sad voice, but still trying to seem happy for all she had been given!

Christmas Eve 2010

We started Christmas Eve afternoon making cookie dough and cutting out cookies to decorate for Santa!
