*Had his 6 month checkup - 27" (70%) 18.8 lbs (70%) I was thinking what a baby looks like that is in the 90% of both...I thought Tanner was a big boy!
* Saying Ma-Ma all the time...I think he may be realizing there is meaning behind that word.
*Rolling from front to back...(he dislikes tummy time) he has no interest in rolling from back to front. Why would he roll onto his tummy when he hates tummy time???? Smart little boy!
*Got the first part of his flu shot yesterday and didn't even cry...the nurse said it was because he had such chunky thighs...I think he is just tough!
*Had his first Dental check-up = everything looks great !
*Did a great job on staying asleep during his sleeping ABR hearing test last week. Good and Bad came from the results. Good= His good ear (Left) is still hearing great Bad= his hearing impaired ear (Right) has progresively gotten worse from moderately-severe/severe to severe/profound. Foresure no hearing aid now.
*This morning he didn't have to be sedated for his CT scan because he slept like a rock! Good Job Tanner! His ear specialist wants to see the structure of his ears.
*Is eating solids very well. He is currently on SQUASH!!! and wow I have smelled and seen a difference in his diaper! I don't ever remember Sophie having such smelly diapers! He is a true boy!
*Has been participating in the Parent-Infant Program at Sunshine Cottage and has been meeting great milestones. (I'll talk more about Sunshine Cottage in another post, what an amazing place)
*Loves to giggle as sister! He gets so excited when she climbs in his crib in the morning when he wakes up. They play for awhile and I hear her say to him in a cute little voice "Good Morning Handsome Boy" and "Hi Chubbers"! Love moments like that.
*Sleeps through the night for 9 to 11 hours! YEAH!
*The list could go on and on.... and it will another day since this is my blog and I can do that :)
*WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

BIG SISSY!

WOW for the love of a 2 year old!!!!! Let the DRAMA begin! Introducing the star of all the DRAMA.........
SOPHIE!!!! I love it! She is getting so big and quite the little attitude. So here are some fun things she has been doing and saying.
*Loves to play with her friends....she talks to them on her pretend cell phone all day long.
*When she pretend plays (like on her phone) she does this little lip smack sound between phrases...its hilarious. She even does it during prayers, when she is thinking what to say.
*Is determined to say every prayer! And gets mad when we try to help her...this is what her prayer was the other night. It was so special and was actually much longer than any of her other prayers.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you this day, bless food, bless Elle house, bless Logan House, Mommy, Tanner, wake up happy, Please wake up dry , to get Barbie (We had been bribing her with a Barbie if she would wake up dry 3 days in a row), bless mishmishes (missionaries), pes momsin (President Monson), Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
*Favorite Song is "I Am a Child of God"....she sings it from start to finish, with repeating this ("have given me a nursing home, with parents kind and dear")a couple of times until I can help her with the next line. She has a hard time saying earthly home...so she says nursing home! I love it!
*Gets attitude with me and says "Momma, Don't talk to me! " and puts her hand out with the stop motion.
*Is so sweet with her brother (95% of the time)!
*Loves her daddy! She says he is her hero! When he fixes things she'll say "My Hero"
*Talks on her cell phone...and when I asked her who she is talking to... She says Annie on the plane (her Aunt Anji who she thinks lives on a plane, but lives in Las Vegas and came to visit on an airplane last spring)
*LOVES to color and will color for hours....and then will say to me "look mommy I colored in the lines"...and well she really does, I am pretty impressed with her coloring skills. She'll get some of my lined paper and will color in the lines down the page...I'm amazed that keeps a 29 month olds attention!
*When she asks for something and I tell her no...she'll reply "Well Maybe?"
*Takes herself potty! Its great!
*Says "NO!" and we'll say "Did you just tell me No?" this is her reply "I didn't" How do you teach a 2 year old about lying.
* WE LOVE HER SO MUCH!
