On Sunday, February 13th we decided to start celebrating Valentines day a little early! We started out with yummy pink heart pancakes!
The kids LOVE PANCAKES!!!! Especially colored ones!
Then Sophie helped me make heart cookies for my primary class!
She even got to wear a new Valentines dress! And had heart hair! This is a picture of her holding her valentines for her friends at preschool that she wrote her very own name!
The week before Valentines day Tanner celebrated at his preschool with lots of candy! Then on Friday he was able to bring Sissy to school with him for some more Vday fun!

Tanner had so much fun with his classmates celebrating Valentines day and exchanging valentines!
Yes, its true our little Tanner has become a crazy sleeper ever since he learned how to escape his crib! At night he has to be rocked to sleep! Which we don't mind the cuddle time! Then for naps he likes to me rocked as well!
This particular day I tried putting him in his bed for a nap and found him here later asleep in the entry way! I was impressed he could still stand and sleep!

Tanner thought he was so big he took his shirt! He spent the rest of the day at home like this! This month he managed to escape his crib...in fact it went like this. So, I put him down for a nap on January 18th and then while on the phone in walk Tanner into my room. Now, being pregnant I thought to myself, "oh I must have forgot to put him in his crib"....but then being realistic I remembered putting him in his crib. So, I immediately got off the phone and took him back to his crib and asked him if he got out...and with a big smile on his face he quickly showed me how he escaped his crib...SCARY!!! So, that night the crib turned into a toddler bed, which meant freedom for him. So, needless to say our perfect little sleeper/napper has come to an end. Now he doesn't like to be put down...rather rockabied!
We celebrated with cousin Ben at Mcdonalds or "Old McDonalds" as Sophie says for his birthday! It was a hit! So I have been toying with the idea of not continuing my blog...but then I decided it is the only way I journal, etc. So, here is to turbo update of blog!!!
