Party Girl!!!

Sophie loves to go to parties and she loves wearing fun clothes like her new pettiskirt! Her little friend Ellie was having a birthday party so she asked me is she could wear her "partyskirt"...I think she overheard me saying pettiskirt and thought I said "party skirt"! I love her sooo much! Little Tann Tann I'm sure was thinking what in the world does sissy have on!

Valentines Weekend

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 2010
We had a busy Valentines weekend! First on Friday Sophie and Tanner recieved a special Valentines package from Grandpala and Grandma with new pj's and treats! Then on Saturday we made cookies, decorated them, and delivered some. Then Sophie and Daddy dipped strawberries for mommy! yummy my favorite! Then on Sunday morning we made pink heart pancakes and had a fun little breakfast. We decorated Valentine bags and then made cards for eachother to put in our bags. Then we went to church...where Sophie got some more yummy treats. Then we had a yummy dinner and opened presents. Sophie loved her new Sleeping Beauty barbie and Tann Tann loved his new ball. Then we took a drive out the Marelli's so Marco and Sophie could exchange valentines. What a fun weekend! We topped it off with eating out on Monday night at The Olive Garden...as a family (Romantic huh? he he he)

Valentines Party at Sunshine Cottage

Sunshine Cottage Valentine's Party
This party was so much fun for us! Tanner and Sophie had so much fun with stamps, making ice cream, eating treats, and singing songs. Aren't this kids the cutest valentines ever???? Tanner is a huge fan of homemade ice cream now! We love Sunshine Cottage and all of the fun things they do for children with hearing impairments. Sophie loves when we go to "Tanner's School"!

Nanny Visit and Super Bowl

THANK YOU NANNY!
The 1st week of February my mom came down for a week long visit. She came to help me clean out my house and get it ready to put on the market to sell. We cleaned day in and day out...its amazing how much junk you can accumulate in just 5 short years. Maybe all my garage sale finds weren't such a great deal after all...most of them are in my garage sale pile in my garage. We had so much fun with my mom while she was here. We took her out to eat to HuHoT mongolian grill. Its her favorite! Then we had a little superbowl party with her. We made a football cookie cake, brownies, 7-layer dip, and a vegi-tray! Thank you mom for all your help!!!!!

Roller Skating Girls Night

There is a reason we were about the only adults there on $5 rollerskate night. If you fall you will get hurt. I guess I still feel like I'm a kid but the only problem is my body doesn't agree. So, we went Roller Skating for a fun girls night out and things were going great until two of my friends (they will remain nameless) decided to grab each of my hands and start skating...Well of course I lost my balance and fell on my knee...yeah I jump right up acting like nothing was wrong..but really I wanted to cry inside. It hurt sooooo bad. Well its nearly a month later and all though the bruising went away....my knee is still numb when I push on the spot I hit...Travis says its just nerve damage. I can walk fine and workout...its just feels weird! So, my advice to all you mom's out there you may want to reconsider roller skating!

It's been too long since I've posted!

Primary "Meet Your Teacher Lunch" and "Articles of Faith Ice-Cream Party"

I guess its because I love looking at Tann Tann's 9 month pictures...however he'll be 1 year next month so its time to update the blog! We had many exciting adventures in January. On January 2nd I had a primary activity that I was in charge of. It was the "Meet your Teacher Lunch" along with the Articles of Faith Ice Cream party. It turned out super fun with a great turn out of children. I was very appreciative to my counselors, secretary, teachers and of course Travis for all their help.

NEW YEARS FUN AT THE MARELLI'S

Then that night we went over to the Marelli's house for some more New Year's fun! Sophie got to hold a sparkler for the 1st time. Soph and Marco are best buddies! Vanessa and Mike are so much fun to hang out with!
YEAH for MLK day!

Daddy had MLK day off in January. So, you know me I had the day planned out...(Travis hates that I always have an agenda...he would rather relax) but I explain to him that our children need adventures to make them well rounded. San Antonio is great for bike trails, walking trails, and parks. A long walking/bike trail goes by our house is nearly 4 miles long. So, we dropped one car off at the end of the trail, and then drove to the beginning (so we wouldn't have to go double) and spent over an hour walking/running/playing on the trail. Daddy found a golf ball that became the hit of the adventure. We spent time chasing the ball and kicking the ball!
